  • Enter a plain number: a value with the unit typed into it, a thousands separator or a fraction is not parsed.
  • Results are rounded to 12 significant digits, which is past the precision of any measurement but not exact for every ratio.
  • A hectare is 10,000 m² and an acre is 4,046.8564224 m² — neither is a tidy multiple of the other, so an area that looks round in one system will not in the other.
